Nutricia Research Centre for Specialized Nutrition, located in the Utrecht Science Park in the Netherlands is a state-of-the-art Life Science innovation center for the development of new product concepts for vulnerable consumers – infants, toddlers, elderly and patients. For Specialized Nutrition Research and Innovation (SN R&I) division we are looking for an Intern Global Packaging Specifications to join the team.
As Intern Global Packaging Specifications, you will work on the global specifications of the packaging material portfolio. You are responsible for ensuring full food safety and regulatory compliance with the packaging materials to achieve the highest quality standards of finished products for sensitive customers. Your role represents a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise and cross-functional cooperation within a challenging but inspiring category.
Central to this opportunity, your role is to cooperate closely with global packaging specifications managers and other internal stakeholders, including Packaging Development, other departments and stakeholders including R&I, Manufacturing, Quality and Purchasing. You will also foster close collaboration with packaging suppliers and external laboratories. To this end you will be a part of the Packaging Specifications Management team designed to enhance the highest levels of packaging quality and processes in a cross-functional environment.

As Global Packaging Specifications intern, interest in the Food Safety element of packaging materials is second nature to you. You can work well in teams, have a growth-mindset, connect easily with an existing network and perform in cross-functional settings. You are competent in packaging technology and/or food safety, are analytical and structured. On top of that? You’re a positive person who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.
