The Operational Performance Analyst will play a pivotal role in Bridging the data visibility gap across key operational performance indicators during our IWS transformation.

This role is responsible for sourcing, integrating, and analyzing data from multiple systems—including ERP, WMS, MES, Grafana, SQL databases, etc - to deliver clear, actionable insights to operations teams.

A key focus will be the development and maintenance of user-friendly Power BI dashboards that provide daily performance snapshots, as well as weekly and monthly trend analyses, enabling data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Additionally, this role will also actively participate in Dan-IWS shopfloor activities, collaborating with operations teams to understand real-world processes, validate data accuracy, and ensure alignment between system outputs and operational realities.

 

This is a 24 months opportunity and will take place in Auckland (New Zealand).

 

YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

  

Your main responsibilities will focus on (not an exhaustive list):

 

Data Accessibility

  • Partner with operations teams to define and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) and data gaps across the business.
  • Extract, transform, and integrate data from various systems (ERP, WMS, MES, Grafana, SQL databases) into centralized reporting tools.
  • Validate data accuracy and relevance
  • Ensure alignment between system data and frontline performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, CI, Finance) to ensure data consistency and reporting alignment.

 

Dan-IWS routine task

  • Actively participate in Dan-IWS shopfloor activities to understand real-time operational processes
  • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives with data-driven insights.
  • Coaching on Dan-IWS on a daily basis (planned stops, DDS, other DMSs).

 

Strategic Planning

  • Make issues & problems visible for leaders and teams.
  • Support strategic planning cycles (e.g., annual operating plans, quarterly reviews) with data insights and performance forecasts.
  • Build models to simulate the impact of strategic decisions (e.g., new equipment, staffing changes, process improvements).
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking to compare performance across sites, teams, or industry standards.
  • Identify best practices and areas for strategic improvement.

 

 

Safety

  • Integrate Dan-IWS applications to foster the safety culture and standards.
  • Monitor and analyze safety KPIs (e.g., incident rates, near misses) to identify trends and support proactive risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with EHS and shopfloor teams to validate safety data and enhance visibility through real-time dashboards and alerts.

 

Quality

  • Integrate Dan-IWS applications in procedures and methods within manufacturing to FSI standards.
  • Track and report on key quality metrics such as non-conformance rates, defect rates, rework to support continuous improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using production and quality data to identify systemic issues and recommend corrective actions.

About you

About you

 

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a data or performance analyst role, ideally within a manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environment.
  •  Professional Competencies: Data Analysis & Interpretation, Business Intelligence & Visualization, Systems & Data Integration, Process Mapping & Statistical Understanding, KPI Development & Monitoring, Data Governance & Quality Assurance.
  • Core Competencies : Analytical & Critical Thinking, Attention to Detail & Systematic Execution, Adaptability & Curiosity, Empathy & Communication, Accountability & Drive for Improvement).

Are you eligible for a V.I.E?

V.I.E is a Business France device allowing Europeans to work internationally for a designated company. This is a 6 to 24 months contract.

 

  • You must be aged between 18 to 28. 
  • You must have completed national service obligation
  • You must be a citizen of the European Economic Area
  • You must have never worked in the country in which you wish to do your VIE.
