1. Committed to respect specific rules to comply with the WHO Code of Breast Milk Substitutes and any related regulations applying locally
2. Prepares the following plans and submits such plans to Healthcare Nutrition Director for information and approval:
• “Territory Plan”, based on marketing and sales data, e.g., Activity by Product Report, Activity by Area Report, Activity by Nutrition Advisor Report, to conduct feasibility studies on potential clients within own assigned areas,
• “Nutrition Action Plan”, based on marketing and sales data/information and on discussion with Medical Channel Manager, Healthcare Nutrition Director, and marketing team, in order to allocate target to each of own subordinates and to plan on nutrition and promotional activities within own assigned areas for the next period.
3. Accompanies Nutrition Advisor, Senior Nutrition Advisor, Nutrition Executive on their in-field visits to customers in order to:
• set objective for each accompanied call,
• establish and maintain close relationship with Opinion Leaders and collect first-hand market information, competitive issues and related operational issues on the assigned areas in order to search for further market opportunity and create more effective nutrition strategies,
• organizing the special nutrition event or activities.
4. Provides advice and on-the-job coaching as well as to assist in solving nutrition-related problems as deemed necessary ensuring that the implementation of nutrition strategies are effectively carried out to achieve the set target.
5. Conducts in-field visits to Key Opinion Leaders and Health Care Professionals in order to maintain good relationship, exchange technical information, collect market information, and to provide the specific products information.
6. Monitors, controls, and supervises nutrition activities and performances of Nutrition Advisor, Senior Nutrition Advisor, Nutrition Executive through reviewing and approving various forms and reports, i.e., Daily Plan Report, Monthly Report, Territory Plan, Expense Report, Daily Call, etc., in order to be updated on current issues encountered by Nutrition Advisors and to ensure that their activities are carried out in line with nutrition strategies and approved budget.
7. Provides comments or suggestion to the Healthcare Nutrition Director on the “Product Drive Incentive Scheme” by taking into consideration potential clients, market movement, and individual performance of own nutrition team as an information for the Nutrition Director to set up the incentive scheme for rewarding nutrition field-force in achieving sales target.
8. Interviews and selects the potential applicants in the event of manpower need for the organization’s field force; provides own comments on the qualification of the applicants interviewed to the direct supervisor for information and further selection process.
9. Discusses the assigned nutrition target for own team with the Healthcare Nutrition Director in order to negotiate and conclude on the adjustment of such target for effectiveness; monitors, controls, and allocates the assigned nutrition target classified by products and areas to each subordinate; provides guidelines on nutrition strategic objectives to achieve and reviews periodically such allocated nutrition target and strategies in order to ensure its practicality and obtainability.
10. Performs other related duties of a similar type and at a similar level.
