ABOUT THE JOB

 

We’re looking for a dynamic Key Account Executive to join our team on a permanent basis at Danone Saputo Dairy Australia (DSDA). In this pivotal support role, you’ll work closely with a National Account Manager across key customers—including Coles and Woolworths—to help deliver the DSDA sales plan and commercial calendar. Your focus will be on building strong customer relationships and driving business performance.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support National Account Managers (Coles and Woolworth) - Analyse sales and competitor data, support range reviews, and maintain key commercial reporting tools to drive strategic decision-making
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong customer relationships with grocery partners and support collaboration by preparing materials and insights for internal and external stakeholder meetings.
  • Claims Management: Conduct monthly reviews of claims, including fixed terms and case deals, and investigate any discrepancies or disputes if necessary.
  • Promotional Activities: Support promotional planning and execution by managing submissions, ensuring accuracy, and collaborating with internal teams and retailers to maximize campaign impact.
  • Activation Planning and Management: Coordinate brand activations and retailer media briefs, while analyzing campaign ROI and supporting post-activation reviews.
  • New Product Development (NPD): Engage in NPD project meetings to support the launch of new products and seasonal jobs.
  • Online Store Management: Ensure optimal online store presence with accurate packshots, campaign callouts, and Health Star Ratings.
  • Supply Chain Support: Support forecasting, supply chain coordination, and retailer collaboration to ensure accurate planning and seamless product availability.

About you

You are a proactive and results-oriented professional with a passion for sales and client relationship management. Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills enable you to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are not only met but exceeded. Additionally, you are tech-savvy and possess a strong desire to learn and grow.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, sales administration, customer claims management, promotional activities, or key account support.
  • Previous experience in the Grocery channel within FMCG (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SKULibrary is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business/ marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
