We are looking for a Procurement Intern to support the work of the Cycle & Procurement Manager.
Main responsibilities:
We are looking for a Procurement Intern to support the work of the Cycle & Procurement Manager. Your responsibilities will focus on:
- Contract Management
- Monitor contracts based on spend reports.
- Follow up with requesters to ensure contracts are drafted, reviewed, and uploaded to the contract management system.
- Supplier Selection Documentation
- Handle administrative tasks and maintain proper documentation.
- Support end-to-end preparation of procurement reporting and tracking.
- Premium Sourcing
- Tabulate historical premium data for the past 3 years.
- Compile available quotations for monitoring and reference.
- Create and maintain a premium sourcing database.
- Additional / Ad Hoc Tasks
- Compile supplier quotations for centralized reference.
- Ensure compliance and governance of procurement processes, including monitoring of Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt (GR) submissions etc.
About you
Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in a related field.
- Able to commit to a minimum internship duration of 3 months or more.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with social media platforms is a plus.
