About the job

At Danone, clinical research plays a critical role in building the scientific evidence behind our health-focused products. As a Statistical Programmer, you will transform complex clinical trial data into high-quality analyses that support evidence generation, scientific publications and regulatory compliance.

 

Working within our Biometrics team, you will develop and validate statistical programs using SAS and/or R, ensuring accurate, reliable and timely results across a range of clinical studies. You will collaborate with statisticians, data managers and clinical research teams while contributing to continuous improvements in programming standards, processes and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate analysis-ready datasets and statistical outputs for clinical studies, publications and reports.
  • Deliver high-quality programming solutions that support accurate and timely study results.
  • Advise stakeholders on clinical data structures, dataset composition and statistical programming approaches.
  • Ensure statistical programming deliverables and documentation comply with Good Clinical Practice, data governance requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Contribute to technical innovation, automation and process improvements that enhance the quality and efficiency of clinical research delivery.

About you

You are a detail-oriented Statistical Programmer who thrives in a collaborative research environment. You enjoy working with complex clinical data, delivering high-quality outputs and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to generate robust scientific evidence.

You combine strong technical expertise with a quality-first mindset and are comfortable communicating with stakeholders across different disciplines.

Must-Haves

  • Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Statistics, Biostatistics or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in statistical programming within a clinical research setting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAS and/or R.
  • Experience creating analysis datasets and statistical outputs for clinical study reports, interim analyses, scientific publications or related clinical research deliverables.
  • Understanding of clinical trial processes, clinical data and quality requirements within a regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective planning skills and proactive communication.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Knowledge of CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM.
  • Experience applying AI-powered tools or innovative technologies to statistical programming, data analysis or programming workflows.
  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical data governance principles.
  • Experience collaborating with statisticians, data managers and other clinical research professionals.
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.
