Danone MENA is looking for a talented Events Specialist to be based in Alger, Algeria like you!

Join our dynamic team as an Events Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing national and international medical events, ensuring seamless operations and impactful outcomes. This position is ideal for a driven professional with experience in marketing or event management, eager to contribute to the efficient delivery of projects and the promotion of medical and marketing initiatives

As an Events Specialist, you will manage the organization of events from inception to completion, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets while meeting ELN expectations. You will coordinate with suppliers, oversee operational and administrative functions, and support the planning and supply of medical and marketing materials. Your responsibilities will also include managing the development, production, and distribution of promotional materials and arranging all meetings and events. In addition, you will assist in budget preparation and provide progress reports to the Executive Director, closely tracking event finances to ensure transparency and efficiency. You will be encouraged to propose innovative ideas to enhance event planning and implementation processes.

Objectives of the Role

• Deliver events on schedule and within budget, aligned with organizational expectations.
• Maintain clear communication and manage priorities and deadlines for multiple projects.
• Build and sustain relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Ensure operational and administrative efficiency in all project activities.
• Support the organization of both national and international medical events.
• Assist in planning and supplying medical and marketing materials.
• Manage promotional materials from development through to distribution.
• Arrange meetings and events, coordinating logistics and requirements.
• Participate in budget planning and provide periodic progress updates to the Executive Director.
• Monitor event finances, including billing and reporting.
• Contribute new ideas for continual improvement of event planning and execution.

Key Accountabilities

• Organize events efficiently while adhering to budget constraints.
• Communicate and uphold deadlines and project priorities.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate logistics.
• Oversee operational and administrative functions for effective project delivery.
• Provide support in the planning, production, and distribution of medical and marketing materials.
• Track event finances and prepare progress and financial reports.
• Arrange and coordinate meetings and event logistics.
• Drive process improvements for event planning and implementation

• University degree in Marketing or Business.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or event management.
• Strong project management expertise.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in Arabic and French (reading, writing, speaking); English proficiency
• Comfortable traveling and adapting within dynamic environments
• Demonstrates leadership, ownership, collaboration, and initiative.
