(Sr) Clinical Study Supplies Manager

About the job

Are you ready to shape the future of clinical trials? As a (Sr) Clinical Study Supplies Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that life-changing studies run smoothly by managing the entire supply chain process. From planning and forecasting to packaging, labelling, and distribution, you’ll make sure every detail is right – because patients depend on it.

You’ll join a team committed to excellence and innovation, working in a fast-paced global environment where your ideas can truly make an impact. This is your chance to lead initiatives that optimise processes, drive compliance, and introduce cutting-edge solutions for evolving clinical supply needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end clinical study supplies activities across global and local trials, including planning, forecasting, packaging, labelling, distribution, and returns.
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs and regulatory requirements (GMP, GCP, GDP), maintaining audit readiness and supporting inspections.
  • Investigate and analyse deviations, complaints, recalls, and supply chain issues, leading the implementation of effective CAPAs.
  • Proactively identify, propose, and implement process optimisation initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Conceive and lead clinical supply innovation initiatives to anticipate future needs such as new production lines, systems, faster timelines, and customised vendor solutions.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of SOPs related to clinical supplies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

About you

You’re a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for improving processes. You thrive in complex environments and know how to lead cross-functional teams towards impactful results.

What we’re looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in clinical trial supply management, ideally in a global setting.
  • Experience in initiating and implementing innovative process improvements and leading matrix teams.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices for clinical supplies.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
