As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our brands by supporting strategic initiatives, driving consumer engagement, and collaborating across teams to deliver meaningful impact.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

Brand Strategy & Execution:

 

  • Identify growth opportunities for the brands and work on brand / category strategy including portfolio, innovation, communication, activation management
  • Support the development and implementation of brand’s both short & long-term plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist in crafting compelling brand stories and consumer-centric campaigns.
  • Contribute to the mix of Marketing and Brand Management projects enabling you to show the breadth and depth of your market & category knowledge

 

Consumer & Market Insights:

 

  • Analyze consumer trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Ensure a thorough market and competitive analyses and collaborate with SIA team for facilitating consumer research
  • Collaborate with SIA (Strategy, Insights & Analytics) team to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.

 

Project & Campaign Management:

 

  • Acts as the brand owner by displaying a constant challenger mindset with a desire to question the norm and always strives for excellence
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead & execute brand communication campaign activations across all media touch points
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on learnings.
  • Comply with regulatory and deal with related stakeholders cross-functionally.
  • Support implementation of all brand and campaign toolkits with C&CD Teams (Key Visual, print and digital materials, Q&As, all consumer promotions, joint business plans etc.)

 

Innovation & Product Development:

 

  • Contribute to innovation pipeline by supporting concept development and go-to-market plans.
  • Partner with R&D, operations, regulatory, legal, sales and relevant stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches.

 

Performance & Budget Tracking:

 

  • Rigorous track brand & market performance metrics and prepare regular reports.
  • Review channel, SKU and regional performance of the brand and work with C&CD and Sales Teams to drive brand activation plans
  • Support budget management and ensure accurate financial tracking.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in preferably Management, Economics, Engineering or Social Sciences; Master’s is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in brand management or marketing ideally within FMCG.
  • Familiar with the overall business environment and cross-functional dynamics (R&D, Finance, Operations, Strategy-Insights-Analytics, Sales) of FMCG companies.
  • Passion for brands, trends and consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business plans
  • Proactive mindset with attention to detail to own & lead the projects
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and deal with different stakeholders cross functionally, across countries and management levels
  • Organized, structured, and always have an overview of all the deliverables. Ability to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe and to work well and lead cross functional teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), data knowledge on key data tools (Nielsen, IPSOS, Kantar)
  • Fluency in English & Turkish; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ideally, experience in NPD development (insight generation, concept building, concept testing) & project management
