About the job
As the Automation & Operations Technology Engineer, you will lead the end‑to‑end strategy and execution of Instrumentation, Automation, Control, and Electrical (IACE) systems across process, packaging, and utility equipment. You will drive machinery reliability through comprehensive backup reviews, obsolescence assessments, and long‑term retrofit roadmaps.
You will also spearhead Operational Technology (OT) Management and network enhancement initiatives, ensuring robust and secure OT Plant & OT Network performance.
In addition, you will lead the implementation of advanced digital technologies—such as DMA Red Stream and Predictive Maintenance—by overseeing busline predictive diagnostics (Profibus, AS‑i Bus, Profinet) to enable a connected and future‑ready manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in automation, instrumentation, control systems, and OT network environments within manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or managing large-scale technical projects.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of Instrumentation, Automation, Control & Electrical (IACE) systems across process, packaging, and utility equipment.
- Solid understanding of OT networks (e.g., industrial Ethernet, Profinet, Profibus, AS‑i Bus).
- Experience in diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and performance monitoring of busline communication systems.
- Familiarity with automation platforms (PLC, SCADA, DCS), machine backup management, and obsolescence roadmap planning.
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards in OT environments is a strong plus.
Digital & Innovation Skills
- Experience driving digital transformation in manufacturing (e.g., predictive analytics, DMA Red Stream initiatives, digital machine insights).
- Ability to evaluate and integrate future-ready technologies into plant operations.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong project management capability with a track record of delivering complex technical initiatives.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and decision‑making.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills; able to collaborate with plant teams, vendors, and global experts.
- Demonstrated leadership in continuous improvement and change management.
