Your role:
 

As a Brand Manager, you will join our Alpro plant based marketing team and report to the Plantbased BNL Senior Brand manager for plantbased beverages (PBB) & growth spaces. Your job will be to share the love for Plant based eating through our beloved Alpro brand with consumers in the Netherlands. As a true brand marketeer, you’ll have to identify key consumer needs, match them with our brand purpose & strategy, and develop winning communication, activation, and innovation plans. 

What would be your role in this team, you ask? 

 

Create annual growth Plan and Lead Brand growth: You’ll design the brand plans with clear “jobs to be done” and priorities, in the Netherlands on all that relates to our Alpro plantbased drinks, our N°1 category in Alpro. you’ll lead the implementation of those brand plans and track the business results along the way, taking action when needed to reach the ambitions. Your business skills, retail knowledge, strategic and growth mindset are essential in that role.

 

Campaign and Brand Management: You’ll be responsible to leverage global assets and amplify, with insight-driven elements, in all our communication and activation agenda in close liaison with key media and creative agency partners.

 

Project Management: Your day-to-day tasks will focus on leading key projects, including the launch of innovations and renovations on the NL market, that are part of the Alpro plant-based beverages. You will work with cross-functional teams to carry projects through their various stages and ensure they hit the market on time, and with excellence in execution. 

 

Market Analysis: You will analyze in-market trends and results of our activities, and report key conclusions and insights back to the team. We’ll be curious to hear your ideas along the way! 

 

Operational Management: Of course, you’ll also help with the operational sides of the brand: budget management, working with influencers, making sure things go according to plan. 

 

Collaboration: You’ll closely collaborate with your colleagues in different functions, for example: shopper team, key accounts, AFH team, media team, category managers, and field sales manager. And of course, be part of our fantastic Danone team! 

 

 

About you

You fit this role if:

  • You preferably hold a Master’s Degree (e.g., Communications, Economics, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or relevant bachelor’s degree, e.g., Retail Management). 
  • You have significant experience (+5y) in marketing (experience in FMCG is considered a plus). 
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a positive extra asset.
  • You are passionate about plant based universe, sensitive to purposeful brands and all topics related to health, planet and ethic  and eager to dive into the world of brand marketing. 
  • You have a proven track record in delivering business growth, including building an alternative agile support planwith strong route to market.
  • You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams; you’re open-minded & resilient.
  • You have a flexible mindset: you are proactive and can work independently with an eagerness to learn. 
  • You have a sense of entrepreneurship and at ease when starting from a blank sheet.
  • You know how to run campaigns across channels (ATL/BTL): from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with the brand identity and objectives.  You also proofed good creativity in your past experiences.
  • You have a strong business and growth mindset, at ease with P&L and all data analysis to draw conclusion and action plan together with category management team.
  • You have strong Analytical skills & ability to prioritize.
