ABOUT THE ROLE

Danone is seeking a technically strong and business‑focused IT/OT Engineer / Business Solution Analyst – Manufacturing to join our Operations Digital Transformation team based at our Kiewa manufacturing site.

This is a critical on‑site role where you will ensure the continuity, performance, and evolution of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems, supporting manufacturing operations and driving efficiency, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the OT Manager – ANZ, you will partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and regional IT teams to support existing systems, resolve issues, train users, and design practical digital solutions aligned with Danone standards and best practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

IT/OT Systems Support & Operations

• Provide on‑site IT/OT support to ensure manufacturing systems operate efficiently
• Support end users through troubleshooting, training, and system guidance
• Ensure continuity of digital solutions and adherence to best practices

IT/OT Convergence & Digital Transformation

• Collaborate with IT and OT teams to support secure, resilient converged systems
• Analyse current IT and OT environments and identify improvement opportunities
• Support SAP systems and identify efficiency gains across manufacturing processes

Process Improvement & Solution Design

• Analyse and map business processes and IT infrastructure
• Design and implement technical solutions to support integration and standardisation
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives that add value to the business

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and regional IT teams
• Liaise with software vendors and external partners as required
• Ensure alignment with Danone global and regional IT standards

Documentation & Governance

• Create and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides
• Ensure systems and processes are documented, followed, and compliant

ABOUT YOU

You are a hands‑on IT/OT professional who enjoys working close to operations and solving real business problems. You are comfortable balancing technical depth with practical delivery and thrive in fast‑paced manufacturing environments.

You bring a continuous improvement mindset, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to adapt to change while maintaining system stability.

Ideally, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Electronic, Network Engineering, or related field
• 4+ years’ experience in IT/OT roles within an industrial or FMCG environment
• Experience supporting manufacturing or dairy operations (highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of IT/OT systems, networks, and infrastructure
• Experience with SAP and industrial systems
• Exposure to technologies such as LAN/Wi‑Fi, Cisco, Fortinet, SCADA, PLCs, HMIs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally
