C&P Packaging Intern

About the job

In this internship, you will be part of the C&P Packaging & Manufacturing team, supporting initiatives at the intersection of packaging, procurement, and operations. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders to contribute to packaging-related projects, help drive coordination across teams, and support the delivery of efficient and high-quality solutions in a dynamic international environment.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Support benchmarking of packaging suppliers (cost, quality, capabilities, sustainability)
  • Assist in supplier pre-qualification and risk assessment
  • Support cost models and savings tracking (productivity pipeline)
  • Lead RFQ/RFP processes (e.g., via e-sourcing tools like Zycus)
  • Support bid evaluation and proposals assessment
  • Support communication with suppliers for data collection and follow-up
  • Support business continuity planning (backup suppliers, safety stock)
  • Assist in productivity and cost-saving initiatives
  • Work with Excel, PowerPoint, and procurement systems

About you

As a C&P Packaging Intern, being analytical, proactive, and comfortable working with different stakeholders will be second nature to you. You bring strong problem-solving skills, paired with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and you enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders. On top of that, you are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or a related field for the full duration of the internship.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel), PowerBI is a plus
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in July/August for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Able to work from our Danone Place Amsterdam office at least 3 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
