We are looking for a Head of Overheads Controlling Global Functions to join our Company Holdings team, the position is based in Paris (17 boulevard Haussmann 75009 Paris, to move to La Fayette from September onwards). In this position, you will report to Company Holdings Controlling Director, who oversees 4 global functions (Finance, HR, Sustainability & Strategic Business Development, General Secretary) and multiple holding entities across the globe.

The Head of Overheads Controlling needs a high level of service-oriented mindset, a strong experience in controlling, team player, and  especially for senior stakeholders management with stakeholders (Directors, Executives and Comex members) are based in different locations in Paris (DPP), Amsterdam (DPA), Singapore (DPS).

Oversee the actual expenses, budget, dynamic resource allocations, performance review of the Global Functions and to the senior budget owners. Provides and maintains a standard, harmonized and consistent process across different global functions and seeks to continue improvements with the focus on simplification and digitalization.

Ensure timely interactions with the budget owners by providing clarifications and alignments. Actively follows up the global reporting timelines for Month Closings and Rolling Forecasts. 

In this role, following aspects belong to your playfield:

• Participation in the follow-up of Value-Capture and M&A Projects
• Support the decision-making on the group short term and mid-term Cost Planning & Control
• Define, design the right and timely standard process for all fixed costs
• Prepare & present business reviews for the management team and Corporate FD
• FTE (staff) costs management
• Play an important role in the delivery of our strategic Finance Roadmap
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and drive necessary action plans
• Management of 3 controllers who are in charge of each global function.

This will enable you to the following:

• Be part of the finance central team with an ambitious journey
• Be exposed to different stakeholders from other areas
• Have a direct impact on Global Functions performance and results

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.

• At least 10 years experience in Controlling in a large and international context (preferably in FMCG)
• Ability to build trustful relationships internally, able to explain complex concepts or analysis in a simplified way, understand issues of stakeholders from various functions, capacity to animate non-Finance people
• Structured and planning-oriented mindset, being pro-active.
• You love numbers and have a data analytics experience; you have a good knowledge of ERP (SAP…) and BI systems (Power BI…). Always looking for improvements on process and ways of working by leveraging the standardization, digitalization and automation.
• Agility in presenting to CODI and COMEX members; strong exposure to Danone group top management
• Team management experience is an advantage
• Team player, committed with dedications and “can do” attitude. Eyes on the details and able to bring the “helicopter” view.
• Good communication skills with fluency in English and French
