About the Role
Danone is seeking a passionate and driven Communications Manager to join our Corporate Affairs team. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering internal and external communications that support Danone’s business priorities and strengthen our corporate reputation.
Reporting to the Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager, you will plan and deliver communication strategies, manage key communication channels, and lead the delivery of major corporate events. Working closely with stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand, as well as local and global communications teams, you will ensure consistent, engaging, and purpose led storytelling aligned to Danone’s vision.
Responsibilities
Communication Strategy & Channel Management
Develop and deliver communication plans aligned with business priorities, including management of internal newsletters, intranet, and LinkedIn.
Content Development & Storytelling
Use your nose for news to identify story opportunities and create compelling content for owned and earned channels.
Corporate Brand & Reputation
Provide guidance on the use of corporate brand materials and support initiatives that protect and enhance Danone’s corporate reputation, including corporate volunteering, sponsorship and award opportunities.
Event Management
Lead the planning and delivery of key internal events, including the annual staff conference, Town Halls, and other priority events throughout the year.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across functions and geographies, adopting an account management approach to understand needs and deliver aligned communication solutions.
Project & Budget Management
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are met.
About You
You are a collaborative and creative communications professional with a strong sense of purpose and a passion for storytelling. You are comfortable working across multiple channels, managing competing priorities, and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution, with strong writing, editing, and organisational skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are motivated by contributing to a purpose‑led organisation.
