Danone is seeking a passionate and data-driven eCommerce Manager to lead our digital retail strategy across key platforms. In this permanent role, reporting to the eCommerce Lead, you will be responsible for executing our online strategy, optimising the digital shelf, managing paid search and retail media, and owning the day-to-day relationship with Amazon. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Digital teams to drive online sales growth and digital shelf excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Online sales reporting & analysis- Track and analyse online sales performance using tools like Quantium and Coles Synergy. Prepare & present monthly reporting to local and global teams.
  • Digital shelf optimisation -Manage and optimise the digital shelf across key retailers, ensuring perfect page execution. Track performance and deliver recommendations to the relevant stakeholders (Marketing, Sales)
  • Paid search -Execute paid search strategy and manage budgets across platforms like Citrus, CPP, and Criteo. Analyse and re-asses to optimize ROI
  • Online retail media -Coordinate online retail media campaigns with partners like Cartology and Coles 360. Optimize online spend through post campaign analysis.
  • Key Account Management - Act as the key point of contact for Amazon, managing trade spend and driving sustainable growth. Coordinate all activities related to Sales, Orders & Activations.
  • Admin - Handle eCommerce admin tasks including purchase orders and cost reporting via the eCommerce A&P budget

 

About you

You are a commercially savvy and collaborative eCommerce professional with a strong understanding of digital retail. With experience in FMCG or CPG environments, you thrive on using data to drive decisions and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’re proactive, analytical, and passionate about delivering results in a fast-paced, evolving space.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce roles (e.g., eCom NAM, eCom Category Manager) within the CPG industry, with a proven track record of driving online market share growth.
  • Demonstrated success in key account and category management, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience managing eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Coles, Woolworths, or Chemist Warehouse, and working with retail media agencies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and drive results.
