Danone Infant Nutrition Macroom Ltd is a division of the Danone Group and the Macroom Supply Point is a strategic spray drying factory within the division as it is a major supplier of infant formula to other plants within the network. 

The Environment Health and Safety Intern will support the day to day EHS activities in the Macroom Supply Point. In this role, the EHS intern will gain hands on exposure to compliance processes, sustainability initiatives and systems while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced EHS professionals.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Supporting Audits, inspections and compliance documentation  
• Ensuring compliance with KPI's regarding Energy, Water and Waste 
• Assiting with the roll out of safety initiatives and awareness campagins  
• Contribute to the development of a strong enviromental and safety culture   
• Providing administrative support to the EHS team

Requirements: 

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Environmental Science, Health & Safety or a related field 
• Strong Communication skills  
• Ability to work independantly in a fast pased environment  
• Passion for sustainability, Safety and making a positive impact. 
• Expierence with Microsoft office tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Word ect.
