Come and join us as SNU EU Engineering Manager in the European Manufacturing team based in our HQ DPA (Hoofddorp).
As SNU EU Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the management, workload, development and support in details of the teams located in factories and in charge of definition, development, execution and startup of investments projects in your cluster. In your role, you will also contribute to Europe Engineering team evolution, specifically contributing to developing and implementing new tools, methods and systems, and by helping to consolidate results and plans to build a bottom up Europe overview picture of Engineering activities. This role is reporting into the SNU EU Engineering & CAPEX Director.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• In cooperation with SNU EU Engineering Director and with plant teams, develop the Strat Plan / Master plan of the category in terms of capacity evolution / LTO / Efficiency / Obsolescence / digitalization, for each factory.
• Identify and develop upskills plans for Engineering teams in plant in order to match with Europe Engineering team development roadmap
• Manage workload, support and debottleneck project preparation and execution for your cluster
• Consolidate bi weekly execution and project development reporting, in close cooperation with Capex managers of the category and Portfolio managers
• Make sure Engineering teams on site are using right standards and tools, identify gaps if any and follow up corrective actions
• Secure best in class project preparation, project execution, capex reporting and people workload owing to regular follow up on site with engineering teams
• Set up and follow up KPIs showing business contribution via OE / OU / Cash out accuracy / capex intensity / Capex avoidance / Workload / on time % / On spec % / On budget %, always referring to an agreed baseline (CAR documents)
• Co Animates Engineering Category monthly meeting
• Contribute to preparation of the CAR documents by Plant Engineering teams by making sure the best practices, methods and ways of working are properly implemented
• Challenge Engineering solutions to maximize use of assets and reuse of idle assets, also suggesting technological improvements when confirmed relevant and reliable
• Skill up the Engineering community through training programs focusing on reliability, standards, ways of working, and start up performance
• Market Intelligence new technologies plus market and competition development
Education: Master, Bachelor in Engineering
• Experience (in Years): 5 - 10 years in Manufacturing functions ideally in FMCG
• High energy, passion, Can-do attitude and Flexibility. Self-started.
• Excellent presentation skills: Powerpoint, data analysis and verbal and written communication
• Connectedness with plants teams and Suppliers
• Challenge status quo and WoW to deliver high efficiency in execution
• Build innovative solution to deploy knowledge across the organization
• Clear reporting and information to best reflect the performance of the team and business impacts
