In this internship, you will be part of the EU Logistics Service team, which provides logistics services across Danone’s operations.

Fastnet is an Ocean Control Tower program that has expanded its scope to support multiple Danone categories, including Waters, Specialized Nutrition, and Plant Based. It enables factories and business units through standardized and centralized operations for the global import and export of Danone products.

 

You will work closely with the project manager and the program team, supporting both data‑driven visibility work and day‑to‑day project execution. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and contribute to initiatives that enhance operational performance across the Fastnet program.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Data & KPI Support (Core Focus)
    • Collect, clean, and consolidate Fastnet performance data (e.g., forecasts, KPI tracking).
    • Translate data into clear summaries, charts, and actionable insights.
  • Project Coordination Support
    • Prepare meeting materials and pre-reads.
    • Capture decisions, action items, and track follow-ups.
    • Coordinate and manage stakeholders across operations, IT, and logistics partner to ensure alignment.

About you

As a EU Logistics Service Intern, analytical and structured thinking will be second nature to you. You can work confidently with data, handle Excel tasks such as formulas, pivots, and data cleaning, and have the ability to communicate proactively in an international environment. On top of that, you’re a fast‑learning, analytical team player who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Supply Chain Management, Data Management, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in May for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 3 days per week.
  • Power BI or VBA knowledge, strong PowerPoint communication skills, and a basic understanding of AI‑enabled solutions are a plus.
