The Research & Innovation Packaging Engineer participates in the development and implementation of the innovation, renovation, and packaging competitiveness pipeline for Europe. Is responsible for identifying the R&I means to be implemented and coordinating the requests of R&I packaging peers to ensure the execution of the pipeline.

Main responsibilities:

• Performing packaging trials within the factory and after transport,
• Clearly communicating to the project team about project evolution, risks, and challenges,
• Ensuring the packaging documentation and associated tasks are up to date,
• Ensuring compliance with DANONE packaging quality and food safety standards,
• Defining project budget, timeline, and risks/mitigation plan,
• Being an active member of the European packaging community to ensure best practices and ideas are shared and pulled from other departments,
• Unlocking technical challenges to enable packaging opportunities which drive consumer preferences, scale, efficiency, and productivity.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree,
• 1-2 years of experience in packaging development/testing, packaging, or related engineering fields,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams; R&D, Project Management, Production, etc.,
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills,
• Results-driven with high personal accountability,
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office,
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
• Must be fluent in Polish and English,
• Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes.
