ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Danone is seeking a highly organised and proactive HCP Event Activation Coordinator to join our Healthcare Nutrition team on a 12-month contract.

 

Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs, Market Access & Careline ANZ, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of healthcare professional (HCP) events across ANZ. This includes national conferences/congresses, local events, sponsorship activities, medical education initiatives across Medical Affairs, Marketing and Healthcare Nutrition Engagement teams.

 

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring events are aligned with business objectives, delivered seamlessly, and executed in line with internal governance requirements. You will work in close collaboration with the accountable team act as the central point of coordination between internal cross-functional stakeholders, external event organisers, agencies, healthcare professionals and vendors to create exceptional event experiences and meaningful engagement.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

HCP Event Planning & Delivery

  • Coordinate and execute a portfolio of HCP events, conferences, sponsorships and educational initiatives across ANZ.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, logistics and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Evaluate event and sponsorship opportunities and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Event Activation & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, event organisers, agencies and external partners.
  • Coordinate event materials, activations, product sampling, stand builds and other on-site requirements.
  • Ensure stakeholders are aligned on event objectives, key performance indicators, key messages and resources.

Governance & Compliance

  • Manage all event-related approvals, contracts, sponsorship agreements, vendor onboarding and procurement processes.
  • Ensure events are delivered in line with company policies, industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audit readiness.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Track event performance against agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and provide insights to improve future event effectiveness and engagement outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance event delivery.

About you

You are an exceptional organiser with strong project management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality events. You enjoy working across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities and bringing structure to complex projects.

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in event management, event coordination, marketing operations, project management or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience delivering conferences, sponsorship programs, healthcare or corporate events.
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with agencies, vendors, event organisers and other external partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budget management experience.
  • Experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical nutrition or another regulated industry is highly desirable.
