Are you passionate about quality, safety, and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a dynamic Factory Standards Manager to lead our site-based team at Nutricia Liverpool. In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and deliver a robust technical strategy that ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety—every time.

You’ll be at the heart of our operations, spending 80% of your time on the shop floor, driving a culture of excellence, lean manufacturing, and “Right First Time” performance. Your leadership will be key in building strong internal and external relationships that challenge and support technical excellence.

About you

Essential Experience

  • Proven leadership in Quality or Continuous Improvement roles, ideally in pharmaceutical or high-end FMCG environments.
  • Experience managing FDA, FSCC22000, and ISO accreditations.
  • Strong background in Quality Management Systems, food safety, and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, risk analysis, and problem-solving tools (e.g., PDCA, RCA, 5 Why).


Education & Certifications

 

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • HACCP Level 3 (minimum), ideally Level 4.
  • Level 4 Food Hygiene certification.
  • Formal qualification in Internal Auditing.


 Technical & Functional Skills

  • Knowledge of formulation, processing, and equipment (especially dry powder handling).
  • Understanding of food regulations, ISO 14000, and GMP.
  • Skilled in project management, data analysis, and KPI reporting
  • Proficient in Quality & Food Safety Systems and sustainable environment management.
