Role Purpose:

The Danone North Europe Multi Country Organisation (MCO) has recently come together to form the largest Danone reporting unit in Europe with Net Sales over €2bn.  This exciting time sees the integration of the North Europe Finance teams, partnering with the business to deliver ambitious growth targets for the coming years.  This role is a key element of the commercial finance team, helping to ensure the Irish market have the right level of commercial finance support and focus on customer and channel development and governance.

The role sits within the Danone North Europe Channel and Market Commercial Finance team, responsible for reporting, monitoring and forecasting customer and channel performance and oversight of customer investment, trade spend and Joint Business Plans (JBPS).

The role is key to supporting CCD in defining strategy by customer and channel, challenging consistency of resource allocation and driving value of trade spend investment.  The role also plays a key role in ensuring our Actuals and Forecast reflect the correct level of trade spend and promotion spend and that the correct governance is being followed by all involved.

Key Activities:

• Drive Topline performance through standard and ad hoc analysis and recommendations
• Strong partnership with CCD as a SPOC for the Irish market
• Build, understand and animate full channel and customer P&Ls to Channel Margin
• Challenge and build resource allocation and performance including Trade Spend investment
• Challenge GPS forecast, ensuring correct use of Blueplanner for promos and pricing
• Support Category Finance business partners with specific insights on channel and customer performance
• Support monthly Trend build process
• Understanding and improvements in Price Claims
• Super 7 / Dango animation and driving adherence to strong governance practices
• Supporting Topline month end close

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

• Finance business partnering
• Finance system / process experience
• Commercial finance experience in ideally an FMCG or retail environment

Salary Bracket: €60,000 - €70,000 + bonus & benefits
