As an Industrial Controller you will oversee and manage the financial operations of our El-Obour factory. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and budget management at the factory level. Additionally, you will lead the planning, monitoring, and execution of the company’s capital expenditure (CapEx) budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial discipline.

About you

Main Responsibilities:

 

Factory Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, cost projections, and financial reports for the El-Obour factory.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and planned costs, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Generate and present monthly cost reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely submission to senior management.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain teams to enhance cost control processes, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze factory production losses, providing insights to reduce waste and improve productivity.
  • Act as a financial liaison between the Finance and Operations departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

CapEx Management:

  • Prepare the annual CapEx budget and track actual spending against approved plans.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform financial evaluations for new CapEx projects, including ROI, NPV, and payback period analysis.
  • Support the preparation of business cases for capital investments and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Monitor the execution of CapEx projects, ensuring financial discipline and timely reporting of deviations.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in accounting, financial planning, or a relevant field—preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CMA or CPA are a strong plus.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical thinking and strategic mindset.
  • Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
