We are looking for a motivated student to join our Specialized Nutrition R&I division based in Utrecht, NL.

 

You will be part of a dynamic, international team of 6 people and support the R&I Finance team at the Utrecht Research Center. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how financial processes enable innovation and portfolio development in a global company focused on health and nutrition.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support R&I financial operations: Assist with P&L activities, OPEX tracking, and financial reporting specific to R&I projects.
  • Contribute to forecasting and planning: Help consolidate figures for rolling forecasts and strategic planning to ensure accurate visibility of R&I investments.
  • Drive innovation through finance: Participate in projects aimed at improving R&I portfolio management tools (e.g., IproView) and contribute to initiatives that enhance financial processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the R&I Finance team in France and other global R&I partners—offering plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Your manager will be Andrea Lopez, Controller R&I Specialized Nutrition.

About you

We are looking for a Master or Bachelor student in Finance, Business, Economics or related backgrounds. You have strong analytical skills, proficiency of Excel, interest in SAP & good knowledge of Power BI. Previous experience in Accounting/Finance is a plus. You are an excellent communicator with an inclusive mindset who can deal with different stakeholders. Be able to work independently while still being a team player. Furthermore, we expect you to be a well-structured person who pays attention to details and enjoy challenges.

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in February or March for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Utrecht office at least 2 days per week.
