We are looking for our Global Pilot Plant Network and WISE Manager , located in Tres Cantos (Madrid) in Spain, reporting to the Sitex Director. His/her main mission will be to Lead the global pilot plant network, ensuring alignment with Danone's global strategy, and coordinating Global pilot plant Capex and HSE.

 

Role & Responsibilities in details:

  • Lead the global pilot plant network, ensuring alignment with Danone's global strategy. This includes the coordination and collaboration between various pilot plants across different regions, running regular dynamics to maintain strong collaboration.
  • Centralizing visibility and coordinating the proper management of the global Pilot Plant Capex, providing perspective on investments ensuring synergies and minimizing unnecessary duplication.
  • Define and implement best practices for pilot plant operations, including the creation of standardized processes, dataflows, dashboards, Network Data-Base, and key KPIs.
  • Oversee Pilot Plant network capacity allocation to different internal groups.
  • Connect with external pilot plant capabilities that could enhance the internal network and establish, partner with internal clients to run and deliver proper validation of those external capabilities when required.
  • Guide project leaders to properly leverage the worldwide network to accelerate the landing of breakthrough solutions.
  • Manage the health and safety system (WISE): Ensure the implementation and maintenance of Danone's WISE (Workplace Incident Safety Excellence) system. This includes conducting regular safety observations, risk reports, safety dialogues, and WISE audits to foster a culture of shared vigilance and risk prevention.

 

About you

Key Requirements:

 

  • Engineering degree in chemical/food/process/Agricultural Engineering (FOOD engineering), with formal knowledge and experience in applied maths, physics, or chemistry, ideally with a PhD.
  • 8-10 years of industrial experience with a proven track record in pilot plant management and people management.
  • Proven experience in leading safety programs or initiatives within a large organization.
  • English as the working language, with French and Spanish as a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills, including training and explaining complex concepts to non-specialists.
  • Good interpersonal skills, curiosity, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Travel: 20%-30% travel expectations.
