In the UK, many of our consumer brands can be found in supermarkets and pharmacies and are used by millions of people around the country. They range from heritage brands like Cow & Gate and Harrogate Waters to international favourites like Actimel, Alpro and evian. Nutricia, our specialised nutrition range, provides nutritional assistance to patients in hospital and people in the community who cannot get the nutrition they need

 

Role Purpose: 

Leading our #1 strategic channel with a diverse range of customers such as Stabucks, Cafe Nero, British Airways and many more! This role will be fully responsible for the management and growth of the total Away from Home channel across all Danone categories.


Key Activities:

Channel Profitability

  • Key contributor to the overall Impulse targets and understanding your role within this
  • Owning and delivering the annual, quarterly and monthly channel targets including all categories
  • Strategically analyzing the role of each customer and SKUs to optimize the product mix for profitability
  • Responsible for €118m net sales, investment and customer profitability within the Away From Home Channel

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Defining clear channel strategy to unlock exceptional growth for the next 3-5 years
  • Galvanising key cross functional stakeholders behind the strategy and key needs to unlock growth (including portfolio, brand solutions, execution, investment, etc)
  • Inspiring the team behind the strategy, their role in its delivery & to execute the plan
  • Setting precise targets, such as distribution goals, to ensure successful plan implementation. Collaborating across functions to define and communicate these targets to the team

Customer Engagement

  • Identify the contact matrix for our key customers & drive chosen strategic partnerships
  • Develop and nurture your direct contacts and hold others to account with their contacts
  • Ensure we are the ‘supplier of choice’ for our key customers

Team Engagement & Development

  • Leading the team to deliver the years objectives through clear, consistent and inspiring communication
  • Fostering team development through growth-oriented coaching, capability building, and promoting well-being

  • Proficient in articulating and selling visionary strategies to stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong questioning and listening skills
  • Demonstrates advanced negotiation techniques and ability to identify the negotiation styles of key contacts
  • Strong commercial acumen

Salary bracket: £85-£100,000 Plus car allowance and competative benefits package. This role will require the individual to be present in our London Chiswick office approximately 2 days per week and travel to customers is required as part of the role.
