Role Purpose

Please note: This is a 12 month fixed term contract
This is a high‑impact leadership role, owning the Finance agenda for Operations and partnering closely with the Senior Director VP Operations to drive performance, efficiency and sustainable growth across the business.

You’ll sit at the heart of decision‑making—balancing cost control with growth ambition—while leading a small, capable team and shaping how Operations Finance works across categories.

 

Key Activities

Own and lead the Operations Finance agenda

  • Partner with the Senio Director Operations and senior leaders to actively manage costs, optimise spend and support growth priorities
  • Lead budget management, trade‑offs and investment decisions across Operations
  • Drive robust monthly performance reporting and forecasting, with ownership of COGs inputs
  • Provide clear, commercial financial insight to support business cases for Fuel for Growth initiatives
  • Uphold a strong control environment and governance across the Operations finance agenda

Shape ways of working

  • Establish efficient, consistent and scalable finance processes across categories
  • Identify and implement improvements to ways of working, tools and reporting to drive clarity and pace

Lead and develop a high‑performing team

  • Lead a team of three Finance Business Partners, supporting them to own their agendas and partner effectively with Operations teams
  • Coach and develop capability, encouraging strong commercial thinking and confident stakeholder engagement
  • Create a collaborative, inclusive team environment across geographies

About you

We would like you to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • Experience in a large, complex organisation, with strong Operations / Manufacturing Finance experience or a solid FP&A background
  • Proven financial acumen with the ability to confidently manage and influence a P&L
  • Strong presence and credibility, able to navigate a complex senior stakeholder landscape
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience—able to inspire, develop and bring others on the journey, including teams based in different countries
  • A track record of process improvement and implementation, driving clarity, efficiency and better decision‑making
