As a Finance Control Intern, you’ll be part of the DanTrade Finance Operation team, supporting our mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across 12 countries and contribute to key financial processes and strategic initiatives. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the month-end closing and rolling forecast process
• Conducting financial analysis of legal contracts (e.g., spend, payment terms, IFRS 16)
• Designing and implementing DanTrade key performance indicators
• Preparing ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making

As a Finance Control Intern, analytical thinking and attention to detail will be second nature to you. You’re confident working with data, eager to learn, and not afraid to challenge the status quo. You’re a curious and driven team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting the dots to see the bigger picture. On top of that? You’re comfortable to work with AI and always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
• Ideally available to start in September/ October for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 2 days per week.
