Are you looking for an exciting internship opportunity in a global procurement organization and want to contribute to sustainable paper packaging designed for future? Then come and join us now as our Procurement intern for Paper Packaging Category starting on 01st October 2025 at our office in Hoofddorp, NL.

 

 

You will be part of the Global Packaging Procurement Team, contributing to global projects and the strategy for Paper Packaging. You will support the team in achieving some of the key pillars such as: setting the global strategy, leading/coordinating price benchmarking, bringing external innovation and supporting on cost modelling creation. Within a highly dynamic and complex working environment you will have the opportunity to work with many exciting Divisions (e.g. Dairy Product: Activia, Oikos… / Water: Evian… / Specialized Nutrition: Aptamil, Nutricia… Plant Based: Alpro) and different regions (e.g. Europe, North America, Asia etc.)

 

As part of the Packaging team, your assignment will be to:

 

  • Collect and analyze complex data from various sources (i.e. excel files, Power Bi, SAP…); 
  • Co-lead and support internal tools creation (via excel or Power Bi) to improve team efficiency and reporting
  • Co-lead and support global RFP/RFQ events.
  • Support operational procurement activities like contract lifecycle management, price-list management, invoices etc  
  • Explore, identified and recommend efficiency opportunities and support the business with implementations; 
  • Present the conclusions and recommendations in a structured and effective way to stakeholders (i.e. via excel or ppt company template); 
  • Building market knowledge and intelligence related to Corrugated Packaging, with that identifying new sourcing opportunities; 
  • Collect and structure innovations in Packaging and share them within the organization; 
  • Keep up to date project planning overview for dynamic cross country / platform projects while managing internal and external stakeholders.

About you

You are a highly motivated and proactive student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Organised, conscientious, and curious by nature, you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy engaging with diverse stakeholders. You’re confident in sharing your ideas and asking questions, fluent in English, and equipped with strong analytical skills. Your proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI enable you to transform data into meaningful insights while continuously learning and contributing with enthusiasm.

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship;
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit;
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone;
  • Available to start in October 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written);
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 3 days per week.
