YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

This internship will take place in Rueil-Malmaison, at our headquarters starting from January 2027. You will join an international, multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of sustainability, social innovation, and health. Contributing to initiatives focused on Healthy Ageing and the First 1,000 Days, you will gain hands-on experience in project management, partnerships, and innovation in a dynamic environment where projects and priorities evolve.

Your responsibilities will cover four main areas.

1. Support the development and implementation of our Health projects

CARMEN | Supporting healthy ageing and independent living

CARMEN is a prevention program helping older adults maintain their health, autonomy, and quality of life through physical activity, nutrition, and social connection. The program is being scaled across France with partners including Siel Bleu, Nutricia France, and AXA.

Your primary focus will be supporting the development of a new caregivers initiative, alongside other program activities:

  • Family caregivers initiative: identify and assess potential implementation partners, contribute to designing a proof of concept, and help define its intervention model, impact indicators, and implementation roadmap.
  • Partnerships and fundraising: identify potential public, private, and philanthropic partners, contribute to funding proposals, and explore sustainable financing opportunities.
  • National awareness campaign: collaborate with our communication agency and project partners on a campaign around healthy ageing and caregivers, including a digital platform and awareness workshops.
  • Project coordination and impact: support partner meetings, steering committees, impact measurement, advocacy initiatives, and knowledge sharing.

SELA | Supporting breastfeeding and maternal & child health

SELA is a multi-stakeholder initiative supporting breastfeeding and maternal & child health in Algeria, in collaboration with Danone Djurdjura Algérie, GIZ, Clinica Group, and local stakeholders.

You will:

  • Support the program's operational launch, partner coordination, and engagement with relevant public health institutions.
  • Support implementation progress, milestones, impact indicators, and reporting.
  • Explore synergies with other Danone initiatives related to maternal and child health.

2. Support Health innovation and partnership development

Help strengthen Danone Ecosystem's Health expertise and identify opportunities to expand our collective impact.

Your contributions will include:

  • Research and benchmarking: analyze emerging trends, innovative interventions, and best practices in public health, healthy ageing, maternal & child health, and social innovation.
  • Partnership and opportunity development: identify potential partners, explore new initiatives and sustainable models, and contribute to developing collaborations that address unmet health needs.
  • Knowledge sharing: capture lessons learned from past and existing projects and develop tools, case studies, and materials to share insights across teams and partners.

 3. Strengthen the visibility and communication of our Health initiatives

Help translate complex projects and health topics into clear, accessible, and engaging communication.

You will:

  • Develop engaging communication materials, including presentations, articles, website content, and project highlights.
  • Collaborate with our Communication & Engagement team to showcase project results, impact stories, and key learnings through internal and external channels, workshops, and events.

4. Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and the Danone Ecosystem community

You will be part of a broader ecosystem of Project Coordinators and experts working across social, environmental, and health-related challenges.

Depending on evolving project needs and opportunities, you may:

  • Explore synergies between Health and Planet projects to strengthen the well-being and resilience of vulnerable communities.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives in innovation, digitalization, impact measurement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support improvements to internal project management tools and processes, and participate in relevant events and networks.

Throughout your internship, you will be encouraged to bring fresh perspectives, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative and evolving environment.

THE BENEFITS OF THIS INTERNSHIP:

  • Up to 2 days/week of remote work

About you

For this position, we are looking for someone:

  • Available from July 2026 for a duration of 6 months
  • You are currently pursuing a Master's degree (Bac+4/5) in Business, Management, Public Health, International Development, Social Innovation, Sustainability, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • You are curious, analytical, proactive, and adaptable individual who enjoys tackling complex challenges, taking ownership of projects, and finding practical solutions in dynamic environments.

  • You have a genuine interest in public health, sustainability, and social impact, and ideally some initial experience in project management, consulting, NGOs, or partnerships.

  • You have strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to research complex topics and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English, and are proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Previous exposure to fundraising or partnership development would be an asset, but is not required.

Your mindset and ways of working

  • Organized and reliable: you manage competing priorities effectively, follow through on commitments, and consistently deliver high-quality work.
  • Proactive and accountable: you take initiative, anticipate needs, and independently drive assigned activities, identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented: you ask the right questions, structure complex information, and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Collaborative and communicative: you build positive relationships and engage confidently with people from different backgrounds and organizations.
  • Adaptable and resourceful: you thrive in dynamic environments, are comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities, and can quickly adjust your approach while maintaining focus, ownership, and high-quality delivery.
  • Curious and purpose-driven: you are eager to learn, open to feedback, and genuinely motivated by the opportunity to contribute to better health and positive social impact.

Above all, we value your motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn. You do not need to be a public health expert already – what matters is your ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, take ownership, and turn ideas into action.
