We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Medical Affairs and Market Access team. The intern will play a pivotal role in Local Evidence Generation within the Adult Specialized Nutrition (SN) category, while also contributing to various other Medical Affairs and Market Access projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive impactful initiatives. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Educate internal and external stakeholders & make science available and visible: Develop and/or levarage materials and programs to train internal and external stakeholders on the science behind our products and provide medical/nutritional insights in specific therapeutic areas. 
  • Secure scientific and credible communication: Collaborate cross-functionally between regulatory affairs and marketing teams for validation and substantiation of messages, claims and nutritional information. 
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement activities: Co-build strategy and content for stakeholder engagement activities such as Local Evidence Generation to support recently launched product innovations.  
  • Provide Administrative Support: Offer administrative support to the Medical Affairs and Market Access team as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

About you

  • You are currently a Bachelor’s/Master’s student pursuing a degree in Nutrition, Biology, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills – you enjoy being in contact with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to translate scientific knowledge into actionable insights
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a valued team member
  • Curious and proactive

 

As a Medical Affairs intern, generating insightful scientific reports will be second nature to you. You can manage multiple stakeholders and have an interest in understanding patient experiences as well as improving healthcare outcomes. On top of that? You’re a scientific thinker who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • Ideally available to start in June/July 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English;
  • You are able to work from our Rijswijk office, at least 1-2 days per week.
