YOUR MISSIONS AT DANONE:

This internship will take place in Paris Saclay, Gif sur Yvette, at our R&I center starting from October 2026. Tutor's Emmanuelle Nichelson, milk and dairy ingredient scientist in the team Advanced Technology will  guide tour through your day to day tasks and help you grow in your role: 

• Conduct trials to test dairy ingredients into various dairy matrices, at laboratory micro-pilot or pilot scales. 

• Analyze the composition of the dairy ingredients and characterize the properties of the resulting dairy applications. 

• Set up tests to evaluate the technological functionalities of the dairy ingredients. 

• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data to establish links between the composition of the ingredients and their functionalities. 

• Prepare clear, structured, and concise reports to present the results of the work carried out. 

• Contribute to enriching the dairy ingredient database by integrating the newly generated data. 

• Provide occasional support to other team projects as needed.

To achieve great things together, we are looking for someone:

• Available from October 2026 for a duration of 6 months 

• At the level of Bac+5 in university or engineering school, with a specialty in food science 

• With French and basic English skills to interact with team members 

• You are organized, curious and rigorous

• Comfortable with laboratory and technical equipment, you have an appetite for laboratory work and micro-scale pilot testing 

• You enjoy applied research, seeking to understand underlying biochemical mechanisms and establishing links between ingredient composition and technological functionality 
• You enjoy working in a laboratory and micro-pilot testing environment and interacting with different departments!
