About the job

Join us as our new 3PM Procurement Intern from August 2025 in Hoofddorp! You will be part of Danone's co-manufacturing procurement team who is responsible for managing and identifying potential external partners that manufactures finished products for Danone brands.

 

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

 

  • Support the EU procurement co-manufacturing team in its diverse procurement related activities including:
    • Productivity program:
      • Support the team to identify cost optimization opportunities through cost analysis and benchmarking. Update iProview tracking tool and dashboard.
      • Control Tower:  Support the team with productivity program with cross functional stakeholders (Operation, Quality, R&D).
    • Supplier relationship management: manage power BI dashboard tool and related database to support SRM process along the year (contract compliance, suppliers ‘general information, KPI dashboard…) and make sure that the team is updating the database on a regular basis.
    • Purchasing process: pricing updates in a consolidated price list for finance.
    • Market Scouting: perform market scouting for NPDs cross category and identify potential suppliers according to project briefs.
    • Tendering: Organize RFQ/RFI templates to perform tender event cross category through Zycus tool.

About you

You are a Bachelor/Master student in engineering, data analyst, economy, or another relevant study. Procurement and/or Supply Chain experience is considered a plus. You have Microsoft Office skills; Power BI is considered as a plus. You are highly motivated and proactive with good communication skills. You have a natural curiosity with a strong analytical mindset, and you are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment that continuously challenges you. You are self-driven, work with autonomy and enthusiastic while not being afraid to share your opinion or ask questions when needed. 

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in August 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written);
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2 days per week.
