In this internship, you will be part of the Global Procurement Dairy Ingredients team, within our Global Cycles and Procurement department. Our purpose is to secure high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective dairy ingredients that support Danone’s mission of bringing health through food to as many people as possible. During this internship, you will collaborate with Global Procurement Dairy Ingredients teams and coordinate/support on strategic sourcing and supplier performance initiatives. Your main responsibilities include:

• Support senior buyers in managing day-to-day operations within the Whey Derivatives category.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance across manufacturing facilities.
• Track and monitor the implementation of corporate contracts.
• Contribute to productivity and cost-optimization projects.
• Participate in the execution of sourcing strategies in a multicultural, global environment.

As a Dairy Ingredients Sourcing Intern, Effective communication will come naturally to you. You can establish clear communication channels between multiple stakeholders, and have strong data analytical skills. On top of that? You’re a proactive team-worker who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and develop.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;

• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);

• Ideally available to start in September for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;

• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 5 days per week.
