Do you love securing high-quality ingredients touching on both specialties and commodities ingredients and driving supplier validation and reformulation initiatives? Are you hands-on, data driven and willing to grow in negotiation and strategy? Then apply now and join us as our new Specialized Ingredients Sourcing Intern in our Hoofddorp office starting September/ October 2025! 

 

 

 

You will be fully involved and have real responsibilities within business processes, supplier performance’s evaluation, tracking implementation of corporate contracts, and generating and supporting productivity and optimization projects.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Collect and analyze complex data from various sources (i.e. excel files, Power Bi, SAP…)

• Co-lead and support internal tools creation (via excel or Power Bi) to improve team efficiency and reporting

• Co-lead and support global RFP/RFQ events

• Support operational procurement activities like contract lifecycle management, price-list management, invoices etc 

• Present the conclusions and recommendations in a structured and effective way to stakeholders

• Participate in the execution of sourcing strategies in a multicultural, global environment

About you

 

  • You take a hands-on approach and enjoy getting involved.
  •   You communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  •  You’re a proactive, curious self-starter who speaks up and asks the right questions.
  •  You bring strong analytical skills and are proficient in Excel and Power BI, turning data into actionable insights.
  •  You thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace continuous learning.

 

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or another related field during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • Ideally available to start in September/ October 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
  • You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 3 days per week.
