You will be part of the Global Marketing Services (Topline) Procurement Team part of the Cycles & Procurement organization based in Hoofddorp. You will be exposed to the full Topline scope: Media, Advertising, Strategy & Insights and Shopper activities within the Indirect Procurement across our Danone portfolio of brands (with specific focus on Media).

Data is at core of tomorrow’s marketing functions, as a Junior Buyer, your main mission will be to support the Global Marketing sourcing team on different activities, with a specific focus on data collection and management.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

Market Research and Sourcing:

• Conduct market research and benchmarking to support procurement decisions.
• Develop and align new global sourcing strategies across countries; track and support the implementation of new processes and tools.
• Support global and regional projects, including tenders, electronic auctions, remuneration models, and framework agreements.
• Assist strategic buyers in sourcing and selecting suppliers/vendors, including conducting research, evaluating supplier capabilities, collecting and analyzing results, and sharing findings with stakeholders.

Efficiency and Effectiveness Initiatives:

• Produce dashboards of savings and other relevant information regionally and globally.
• Support local procurement teams in building business cases.
• Assist in rolling out key advertising technology and marketing technology solutions as part of Danone's digital transformation.
• Support the establishment and implementation of sustainability projects.

Supplier Relationship Management:

• Engage with stakeholders across departments to drive collaboration and alignment on key procurement initiatives.
• Monitor the quality of service and performance of key suppliers and analyze results.

• You are a Bachelor or Masters student with currently pursuing a degree in Procurement, Sales and/or Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.  
• You have an analytical mindset and can structure and make sense of data to take action.
• You are proactive, fun, and curious.
• You have great organizational and time management skills
• You can work in a team but also independently.

There are also some compulsory requirements

• Enrolled as a Bachelors/Masters student during the whole internship period;

• You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);

• Ideally available to start in May/June 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;

• You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
• You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 3 days per week.
