In this internship, you will be part of the Global Cycles and Procurement Ingredients team, within our Plant-Based Ingredients and Texturing Agents category. Our mission is to support senior buyers in their daily activities and help implement sourcing strategies across EDP, SN & Waters. During this internship, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to multiple strategic initiatives.

 

 Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Leading 2 to 3 projects from our Productivity and Business Continuity programs;
  • Supporting cost-saving initiatives by driving productivity projects;
  • Assisting in expanding our supplier network to strengthen the supply chain;
  • Tracking and communicating results to key stakeholders (Global & Regional Procurement, Operations, Quality, R&D, and Senior Management);
  • Supporting category buyers with spend data collection and analysis for financial budgeting.

About you

As an intern in the Plant-Based Ingredients and Texturing Agents team, you are highly motivated, proactive, and naturally curious. You communicate effectively and enjoy interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. You’re a self-starter who isn’t afraid to ask questions or share ideas, and you thrive in dynamic environments that challenge you to grow.

 

You also bring:

  • Strong analytical and the ability to turn data into actionable insights;
  •  Proficiency in Excel, Power BI knowledge is considered a plus;
  • A desire to learn and contribute meaningfully to the team;
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions and regions;
  • A positive and open mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly and work independently.

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Masters student in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Data or another related field during the whole internship period;
  • You are a resident of the Netherlands and hold a valid BSN number (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to have a valid Dutch residency permit);
  • Ideally available to start in January 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English- spoken and written; additional languages are considered as a plus;
  • You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office, at least 3 days per week.
