As our new Sensory & Consumer Research intern, you will be joining Danone's global User eXperience team based in our Research and Innovation centre (Utrecht, NL). This team focusses on the Specialized Nutrition (SN) product category and is passionate about providing the best possible product experience to patients and Healthcare Professionals.
You will be part of the SN Adult User Experience team, where your key role will be to co-lead UX research aiming to obtain insights on people using medical nutrition (e.g. malnourished elderly, oncology patients or people with cognitive decline) and on product experience of this category. You will participate in various innovation and renovation projects to deliver UX insights and to inspire user-centricity. You will be expected to interact with different functions within Nutricia (e.g. product development, marketing, nutrition and science teams) and with external stakeholders (e.g. research agencies/institutes).
Your responsibilities in a nutshell:
• Bring user centric mindset into various projects and support innovation using sensory and consumer science methodologies
• Support the team in building solid knowledge in sensory and competitive landscape of malnourished elderly and patients with cancer from literature, social listening and competitive analysis
• Contribute to the exploration and recommendation on new experience claims and communication opportunities in medical nutrition products by organizing workshops, team tastings and inspirational sessions with cross-functional teams
• Translate learnings guidelines and best practices to screen, develop and validate new experience claims and communication opportunities to deliver meaningful message to positively impact the quality of life of adult patients and users during their medical nutrition journey.

You are a master student in health & nutrition, food science, marketing or communication science with knowledge in sensory & food or behavior science. Skills in consumer science would be a bonus. You are passionate about health & nutrition for fragile population. You are able to collect, analyze, and synthetize scientific data from the different sources and translate it into actionable insights for the business. You have strong communication skills and you are an enthusiast creative but organized person. Comfortable into international, multidisciplinary environment, you can demonstrate autonomy, proactivity and curiosity behaviors.
