We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, independent and ambitious Shopper Activation Marketing interns to join the Shopper Marketing department based in Brussels for a period of 6 months. 

 

Join our FMCG team! Experience life in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector with our dynamic, talented, and enthusiastic team.  In this internship, you'll join our incredible local shopper marketing team. Shopper marketing focuses on convincing consumers to buy our products at their preferred purchase points, whether it's a supermarket, retailer platforms, or even a petrol station. As a shopper marketeer, you'll identify key moments and places to ensure shoppers find our products and develop activations to encourage them to add our products to their basket or cart. 

 

What would be your role in this team, you ask? 

  • Collaborate with the shopper team on activations in Belgium and Luxembourg, including new product launches and key occasions like "back to school." 

  • Involve in the entire process: briefing agencies, providing input on creative concepts, and following up until the project is live. 

  • Focus on driving excellence in execution: ensure brand identity consistency through the design and timely availability of point-of-sale materials (displays, wobblers, shelf dividers). 

  • Monitor the impact of activations on key customer KPIs with the shopper marketeer to gain insights and optimize future activations. 

  • Collaborate closely with colleagues in various functions, such as the brand marketing team, key accounts, and field sales manager. 

About you

  • 🎓 Preferably hold a Bachelor or Master's Degree (e.g., Communications, Economics, Marketing, Digital Marketing). 

  • 🌟 Hungry for a first experience in marketing. 

  • 🥛 Passionate about dairy, plant-based products & nutrition, eager to dive into shopper marketing. 

  • 📊 Analytical, punctual, and excellent at coordination. 

  • 💡 Flexible mindset: proactive, independent, and eager to learn. 

  • 🛒 Knowledge of the retailers (Delhaize, Carrefour & Colruyt) based in Belgium. 

  • 🌐 Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.

  • ✈️ You need to be based in Belgium for this internship.
