Our IT Master Data team is part of the Data & Analytics platform in the global IT & Data organization at Danone, with a purpose to “inspire & empower Danone through the world of tech and data”. 

The Data & Analytics (D&A) team of the Groupe DANONE is looking for a Master Data IT Product Owner Zone

This position is based in Warsaw and reports to the MDM & Data Excellence Platform owner. 

The primary goal of this position is to be accountable for end-to-end global services project delivery and support team coordination for master data products in close contact with the 3 regional hub teams, having a specific focus on Europe and AMEA.

The role is an important player in managing Master Data elements of core IT products with a worldwide network of IT & Data professionals as well as close collaboration with the Danone Business Services organization. 

You will work in a dynamic and exiting international, multi-cultural environment, introducing both new disciplines and tools in the Data management area as Danone continues to build and expand its data platforms.

Let's go into more details:

Providing IT Master data expertise to regional & global teams:

• Advise & Support local and regional businesses on MDM IT technical topics (data model, IT solutions, best practices)
• Participate in the global governance of IT MDM policies and guidelines and their application
• Collaborate with IT Hub teams on project preparation activities from scoping, assessments, resource planning
• Share local business and technical specificities for global MDM IT function governance

IT Master Data regional project management delivery:

• Ensure global MDM IT solutions deployments, including capacity planning, implementation & monitoring
• Operational management of a small master data deployment & project delivery team
• Support global MDM IT solutions localization and customization to regional needs if relevant
• Manage training and change management for Master data applications as required

Operational oversight of IT master data support teams

• Danone point of contact for local team's use of support for MDM IT services (questions, incidents, change requests)
• Ensuring Support teams respect SLA and Quality and escalate when judged necessary (complexity, technical limitation, criticality, …)
• Defining the regional IT service Catalog and collaborating in cross charging model process, assuring regional control of the budget and costs of data products, including spend on regional vendors and services

Working with colleagues in the D&A Master Data platform team on product strategy for MDM applications throughout their lifecycle from definition to the implementation and support, from ideation to decommissioning.

• Maximizing ROI by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value
• Developing and managing business requirements, writing user stories, and communicating vision to developers and testers
• Closely working with Product Owners to define product strategy, managing product backlogs, and reporting the performance of products and applications

We expect you to have: 

• Education in the field of computer science, data and analytics, or business administration
• Several, stable years of experience within a large, global, and matrixed organization
• Practical experience working with SAP IT products, ideally with a good knowledge of master data
• Technology knowledge includes SAP (multiple ERP modules In ECC and S4/Hana, and some customising and configuration knowledge will be a plus.
• Experience effectively collaborating and managing stakeholders and driving adoption to improve usage of Core models
• Knowledge of master data in the areas of CPG business including, but not limited to, commercial data, finance, SAP, customer data, digital, etc
• Experience with the master data creation and maintenance processes which includes understanding requirements, formulating design, and communicating deliverables using DevOps and Agile engineering practices
• Some knowledge of current tech trends related to AI/ML as applied to data products can be beneficial
