Mission of this role is to lead Process Design/ Delivery scope for Mirai capacity expansion project and ensure right first time execution within cost & schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead as sub-project manager for process scope, driving project schedule with key suppliers to ensure on time delivery, managing process scope cost within budget
2. Lead design reviews with global team/ site Operations/QFS to ensure right first time design: quality risk & operational convenience/ current site issues reflected into new project design; and ensure key project KPIs like capacity/ Batch cycle time/ CO time/ CIP time/ waste generated during C/O etc are met & minimized rework/ changes at installation.
3. Ensure compliances for safety in design standards by reviews with global safety in design team & specified 3rd party, ensure 100% for high/mid risk hazardous.
4. Drive clarity of interfaces with packing/ MEP & Utilities to ensure no scope missing related to process
5. Closely working with R&I/ QFS to ensure technical readiness according to product specification/ needs
6. Lead on site installation with equipment suppliers & installation company to ensure installation finished in right quality, within defined time line, minimize rework, at 0 safety incident
7. Lead IQ/OQ/ testing & commissioning etc activities and ensure quality product delivered per target date, at minimized waste generated during testing by right design/ execution & planning
8. Ensure technical documentation package ready for technology knowledge training & transfer to operations team, including full sets of P&IDs/ layouts/operation manual/ maintenance manuals/ spare parts list/ centerlines/ program etc.
9. Support VSU leader to ensure key operators are trained & qualified via equipment FAT/ installation & commissioning activities.

• Packaging Lines
• Automated Warehouse Design
• Programming and Automation Systems
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs meet accuracy standards and are “right the first time,” minimizing rework and delays.
• Project Execution: Monitor engineering deliverables, manage timelines, and guarantee seamless vertical start-up of all systems.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to align technical solutions with project objectives.
• Compliance: Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout design and implementation phases.

Communication & collaboration
1. Closely collaborate with Safety in design, EHS/ QFS/Operations, R&I team to ensure 1 team 1 goal, towards VSU at right cost & target time

Job Qualification
Functional Competencies (it refers to knowledge and skill which are required by function)
1. Experiences of working in big capex project as Engineering manager and big organizations
2. Good project management skills
3. Strong business knowledge and cross-functional team management
4. Good knowledge in budgeting and capex, safety management, and compliance
5. Good understanding and experience of Japan and local cultures

Knowledge & Experience
Education and Experience
Mechanical/ Process Engineers in food industry/ FMCG
Minimum 10 years in similar categories area as process Engineer leader, with shopfloor experience of process engineering projects

Specific Knowledge
Yogurt Processing, Batching/fermentation/pasteurizing/ separating/CIP etc technologies

General skills
Good spoken & written in English (fluent), Japanese is a plus.
Good skill in Projects management/ AutoCAD software.
Good communication skills, influencing skills, and high integrity.
