Key Account Manager (Plant-Based & Waters)

About the job

As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for our Plant-Based and Waters portfolio at one of our Top 3 Retailers. You will be responsible for the business development, Joint business plans and negotiations. Besides that Net Sales Growth and Market Share Growth as per the targets in our Annual Operating Plan

 

Your responsibilities include

  • Defining and executing the jobs to be done per customer per category based on the Brand, Channel and Customer prioritization grids, as per the yearly business cycle
  • Leading Business Reviews & all relevant initiatives with each customer
  • Leading the negotiation for this customer group and executing customer negotiations within mandate, and monitoring performance, including optimal promo plan.
  • Coordinating the activation plans through customer tools with the highest ROI, in close collaboration with other functions (Shopper Marketing, Field Sales, Revenue & Growth etc.)
  • Within the Global Planning Strategy process owning the forecast for your customer and category (from volume to value) including anticipation of risks & opportunities (drivers & levers). You will propose actions to course correct and achieve your targets. You will use Blue Planner as the backbone of your customer forecast (listings, conditions etc.)
  • Trade Terms & invoice management in collaboration with Sales Assistant
  • Ensuring first time right and smooth timely cash collection through clear internal & external communication (payment terms, on & off-invoice conditions etc.). Supporting Customer Service and Accounts Receivable teams to solve claims when necessary.
  • Taking the lead on overarching topics with your customers

 

Asides your day-to-day activities, you also get the opportunity to be part of various projects.

About you

You have obtained a relevant master's degree in economics, marketing, sales or general management and you have a solid experience in Sales, preferably in fast-moving organizations in key account management.

 

Besides that,

  • A very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is key
  • You are enthusiastic and open team player, great entrepreneurial and strong negotiation skills
  • You are able to analyse and interpret data in order to transform them into insights.
  • You describe yourself as creative, resilient and process affine
