About the job

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams.   We are currently looking to hire a Logistics Clerk based in Dallas, Texas!  

 

In this role, you will be responsible for: 

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Check drivers in, verify necessary documents.
  • Distribute loads to the floor/forklift operators.
  • Monitor carrier delivery and pick up times.
  • Print BOL, check drivers out verify documents.
  • Review orders/shipments from previous day to validate carrier pick up.
  • Respond to and resolve appointment scheduling and delivery issues.
  • Ensure paperwork completed timely and accurately.
  • Assign, monitor and dispatch yard driver for shuttling trailers and dock doors for trailers.
  • Create transfer orders and or run all transfer orders and prepare documents for outbound loads.
  • Check in inbound drivers, verify documents.
  • SAP reconciliation of inbound and outbound shipments.

About you

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic PC skills.
  • Proficient in creating and analyzing data with Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and Pivot Tables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills within all levels of the organization.
  • Proven decision-making ability.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Prior experience working with SAP.
  • Experience with Lean Logistics beneficial.
  • Planning, Supply Chain and Distribution experience required.
