Danone MENA is looking for a talented Medical Brand Manager (6 months contract) to be based in Algers, Algeria, like you!

As a Medical Brand Manager, you will play a key role in positioning and promoting Blédina to healthcare professionals in the MENA region. You will be instrumental in building the marketing strategy and implementing it by proposing and executing specific action plans targeting stakeholders in the medical sector, with the goal of increasing prescriptions of our products. You will work closely with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and institutional partners to strengthen our presence in the market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understanding Target Audiences: Consolidate insights regarding consumer needs and healthcare professionals’ expectations across the region; identify challenges related to the brand’s positioning among healthcare professionals in order to co-develop, with the Senior Brand Manager, the brand’s strategy for healthcare professionals.
  • Execution of Medical Marketing Strategy: Propose and develop marketing action plans targeting healthcare professionals based on the analysis of previously identified needs, expectations, and challenges, including the development of communication campaigns, innovation concepts, etc.
  • Medical Content: Collaborate with internal and external medical experts to develop educational content, clinical studies, and training tools for healthcare professionals, as well as provide promotional campaigns with supporting arguments.
  • Medical Events: Guide the brand’s participation in medical events, conferences, and symposiums to showcase our products and share relevant information.
  • Medical Monitoring: Track medical trends, scientific advances, competitor actions, and current regulations to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Analysis of Medical Data: Use data to assess the impact of marketing initiatives on prescriptions and adjust tactics as necessary.

 

  • International Coordination: Collaborate with international teams to align medical strategies with the brand’s overall objectives.

About you

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

  • University degree in health sciences and/or a master’s in marketing.
  • 0 TO 2 years Initial experience, internship, or academic project in medical marketing—ideally in the field of infant nutrition or pediatric health products—would be an advantage.
  • Good general knowledge of medical practices, medical delegation, and communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Basic understanding of the role of marketing and its business implications.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to absorb and clearly explain medical information, even complex topics, in an accessible manner.

Required Languages:

Native French and English.
