Pack & Plastic Business Controlling Intern

In this internship, you will be part of the Pack & Plastic Team, within our Waters business unit. Our purpose is to drive transparency and efficiency in plastic usage across global operations. During this internship, you will collaborate with global buyers, controllers, and local teams, and coordinate monthly reporting and budgeting processes.

 

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Updating the Waters Plastic Scorecard (PSC) using system data and global reporting tools.
  • Coordinating data flow from CBUs and global buyers to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
  • Managing budgeting and expense tracking processes.
  • Preparing financial reports and joining meetings with global directors to assess outcomes.

About you

As a Business Controlling Intern, data accuracy and stakeholder coordination will be second nature to you. You can manage reporting tools, analyze figures, and communicate effectively across global teams. On top of that? You’re a people-oriented analytical thinker who’s always looking for opportunities to learn and grow.

 

Key requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline for the entire duration of the internship. 
  • Experience using excel (power BI is a big plus!)
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must be enrolled at a Dutch university and have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • Available to start in November 2025 for a minimum of 6 months, 4–5 days per week.
    Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 2 days per week.
