Everyone on our Research & Innovation team shares a passion for innovation, new process, new formulations, new packaging and new ways of thinking. By joining this team, you will use your scientific and technologic expertise to bring health through food, meet the needs of consumers and nurture growth in the business. 

Reporting to a Sr. Packaging Engineer, this position is part of the Research and Innovation team and is responsible for providing technical support on projects within a business unit related to dairy and non-dairy packaging, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and productivity.

 

This Co - Op will take place from June 2025 - December 2025, located in Louisville, Colorado.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

You will Lead innovation/productivity/sustainability initiatives of existing packaging platforms by identifying, testing, and qualifying different materials or processes
You will Conduct extensive testing to evaluate product and package performance in a real world environment.
You will Design a new package format for different channels of trade (e.g. Club stores, Value, & Grocery)
You will Assist in preparation of documentation and specifications for packaging materials
You will Work with cross functional teams.

 

The base compensation range for this position is $20-28/hour.

About you

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field
One or more courses completed: Materials Science, Distribution Packaging, and Food Packaging.
Strong communication and analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills & a continuous improvement mindset
Collaborative and able to work in a team environment.
