Paediatric Product Specialist

About the job

Could your clinical knowledge and commercial thinking help improve nutritional support for children across Northern Ireland?

As our Paediatric Product Specialist, you will work closely with healthcare professionals across hospitals and community settings, helping them access trusted nutritional products, education and specialist support. You will develop important customer partnerships, grow the territory and contribute to better care for children and families, connecting Danone’s purpose of bringing health through food to as many people as possible with clear, sustainable commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build trusted partnerships with dietitians, paediatricians, neonatologists, GPs, pharmacists and specialist nurses, helping healthcare professionals make informed nutritional choices for children in their care.
  • Grow Nutricia’s paediatric nutrition business across Northern Ireland by identifying opportunities, developing key accounts and increasing appropriate product preference in hospital and community healthcare settings.
  • Protect and expand hospital contract business by understanding local priorities, bringing together strong clinical and commercial insight, and demonstrating the value of Nutricia’s products and support.
  • Support healthcare professionals through meaningful clinical conversations, educational meetings and enteral feeding expertise, with a particular focus on paediatric allergy and faltering growth.
  • Shape an effective territory strategy by using sales data, customer insight and market trends to focus activity, improve product availability and deliver sustainable growth.

About you

We would like you to demonstrate your following key skills:

  • Building credible relationships with healthcare professionals, ideally within paediatrics, nutrition, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or a related clinical environment.
  • The ability to combine clinical understanding with commercial thinking, recognising how better customer support can improve patient outcomes and deliver sustainable business growth.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead one-to-one discussions, group meetings and educational sessions.
  • A curious and analytical approach, using customer insight, market information and sales data to prioritise opportunities and make informed decisions.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and genuine motivation to improve access to high-quality nutritional support for children and families.

Salary Bracket: £45,000 - £50,000. We’ll also provide you with a company car & fuel card.

  • Our field-based principles mean you’ll need to be living in Northern Ireland. If you're unable to relocate, we will not be able to consider your application for this role.
  • You will also need to hold a full UK driving license and must be comfortable with regular driving to meet with your customers.
