Payroll Specialist 1 Year Contract

About the job

This newly created role will be for a duration of 12 months. The incumbent will ensure that the payroll processes for the assigned market comply with legal standards, conduct payroll audits, update policies, and assist in resolving complex payroll issues.

  • Responsible for end-to end payroll processing by payroll system or payroll vendors for one or multiple countries (Thailand, Singapore, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia).
  • Efficiently manage payroll for approximately 700 employees, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements, & ensure salary are paid timely and accurately.
  • Oversee HRIS systems, time attendance, payroll systems.
  • Prepare payroll relevant reports for payroll accounting/GL report, finance payment request & every mandatory statutory compliance reporting. 
  • Responsible for HR administrative task such as insurance movement registration, leave management, and C&B supports.
  • Responsible in handling payroll audit related matters.
  • Responsible in handling employee's payroll related query through ticketing system on time.
  • Working on payroll continuous enhancement projects with IT & business units, & HRBPs.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HRM or any related filed
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll in Shared Service environment or MNC
  • Able to solve complex situation
  • Computer literacy especially excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A people-oriented professional capable of working collaboratively, addressing payroll queries, and providing guidance to HRBPs
  • Strong process control, meticulous, attention to details, good analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong sense of process control & experience in streamline payroll processes
  • Identify process of improvement as required such as developing SOPs and checklist
  • Able to work multi-task in a tight timeline
