An IWS Lead will be the site Manager’s business ally, and the site Leadership teams coach and advisor. This role will function as a trusted team member of Line Leaders and technicians, as well as a coach and a teacher on the floor. This role will be the most knowledgeable IWS person in the site and will facilitate the process.

• Being accountable and responsible for overall safety, safety inspection, investigation, corrective & preventative action, and safety report.
• Being responsible for the change process for the implementation of Integrated Work Systems (IWS). IWS is a management performance tool that will be implemented in all departments in our factory. This change is imperative in our efficiency and effectivity journey and effects the whole organization.
• Driving Manufacturing Excellence implementation, productivity, and process improvement in all operations functions.
• Overall Coordinator of IWS implementation.
• Keep on track of the Masterplan.
• Makes issues & problems visible for leaders.
• Daily consultant to: Site leader, Pillar owners, Department managers, Teams and individuals.
• Responsible for IWS Promotion, Communication & Education.
• Ensure work processes are in place to drive reapplication and one common standard.
• Work closely with other IWS leaders to reapply best practices.
• Talk about issues and make them visible for leadership to see and take action.
• Lead LPT meeting – Discuss site wide issues that are constraining IWS progress, or adjust pillar focuses.
• Daily consultative review with team / individual on the small group activities.
• Lead site Pillar review process – Ensure PDCA thought process.
• In addition, the role will also lead and drive the performance, process improvement and operational productivity as well as support the digital implementation in the factory
• Responsible for any reports related to IWS and Operations performance and productivity under their supervision.
• Others, based on assignment.
• A recognized degree or equivalent in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Safety Officer Certificate will give an advantage
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in EHS management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Experience in managing environment, safety & health in multi-national business.
• Have significant safety management experiences in a manufacturing environment or any other industries with high safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of Danone Wise2 safety management system.
• Technical safety expertise or at least ability to acquire it or ability to mobilize safety experts efficiently.
• Proven ability and enthusiasm to embark teams at management level on safety deployment, with the capability to influence & delegate effectively, whilst driving for performance.
• Ability and vision to drive the level of ambition within the teams, challenge safety performance and culture, getting buy-in and focus on team priorities.
• Excellent communicator at all levels
• Negotiation skills and cooperative approach in dealing with conflicts and/or deviations supported by strong safety auditing skills. Maturity to inspire respect form stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Fluent spoken and written in Thai and English.
